My last 5 years with the Public Defender’s Office, I was promoted to Supervising Investigator and retired as a Supervising Investigator.

East L.A. Patrol Station
1985-1989 – Conducting street patrol in the city of ELA, in a patrol car. Conducting search and seizer laws developing into arrest. General crime car, investigating all crimes from misdemeanors, drugs, gangs to major felonies investigations and arrest. Report writing, interrogations, investigations, court testifying and all police procedures in patrol and police conduct.
L.A. County Sheriff Custody Division Men’s County Jail (IRC)
1981-1985 – Responsible for the safety and processing of new arrestees entering into the county jail system. Processing, searching, finger printing and classifying new inmates. Investigations and report writing of incidents and testifying in court. Continual training In all police procedures.

1978 -1981 – Extensive training in Juvenile behavior, defensive protection training, courses in juvenile, male/female differences in dealing with being institutionalized.
